TRANSDIESEL may need to collect information from you in order to provide you with our products and services. At all time we are committed to protecting your privacy by securing your personal information.
TRANSDIESEL has adopted the highest privacy requirements published in the Australian Privacy Act (Private Sector 2000) and the EU Directive 95/46 as our Code.

We will inform you about what personal information we hold, and for what purpose. We will also tell you how we collect, use and when required disclose information received from you.

You are welcome to request access to your personal information at any time. To ensure your information is accurate you can advise corrections to us and we will update your data file.

When you give us your personal information, which is necessary for us to provide you with our products and services we will inform you of how this information will be used. If we no longer need your information, we will take all reasonable steps to permanently remove personal information unless otherwise required by the law.

TRANSDIESEL will not use your personal information for any purpose other than purpose for which your personal information was collected in the first place. We will not disclose your information to any other person or organisation unless it is required by the law, or disclosure is required for the completion of transaction, or if you give us your express consent to disclose the information.

The Information Technology Contractors working for TRANSDIESEL may be permitted access to some of your personal information while providing contracted services to us. All our contractors who may be permitted such access are contractually bound to comply with the same privacy legislative requirements as we are.

In some instances it may not be reasonable to provide you with access to a whole or a part of your personal information. If we deny you access to your personal information held by us, we will provide you with a reason for our denial of access and the opportunity for you to respond.

If you wish to obtain access to your personal information you should contact our Privacy Officer who will need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may impose a moderate charge for providing access to your personal information and you should be aware that the retrieval of your information may take a little time.

When collecting information from you we will kindly seek your consent and offer you an Opt-In/Opt-Out choice. From time to time, we may wish to send you information that may be of interest to you about new initiatives, advanced information on our new product and service offers and other relevant information.
If you receive such information either in error or you do not want to receive any further information from TRANSDIESEL, please inform us in writing.

If you provide us with your e-mail address, TRANSDIESEL may periodically contact you with special offers, announcements and updated information regarding our products and services. If you do not wish to be contacted you will need to inform us and request removal of your e-mail address from our database. After receiving your notification we will ensure that your personal information is removed from our database. Of course, you can always re-establish your contact information with us in writing should you wish to receive our information in the future.
